FESTIVAL TIMELINE
Experience the Diversity
Workshop by drama practitioner
1st week of March
The Teachers’ Workshop is designed to support educators in guiding students from script intent to meaningful execution, after initial scripts have been submitted.

The focus is on:
-
Helping teachers evaluate and refine scripts to ensure the chosen Human Value(s) are conveyed with clarity, depth, and balance
-
Sharing practical frameworks to integrate values organically into character development, conflict, and resolution—without being preachy
-
Equipping teachers with drama-pedagogy tools to coach students on performance choices, pacing, and emotional authenticity
-
Aligning creative direction with the festival’s assessment focus, enabling teachers to better prepare teams for both the Preliminary and Final Rounds
Preliminary round
last week of March
The Preliminary Round is designed to assess the core strength of the drama itself—its story, message, and performance.
The focus is on:
-
Clarity and depth of the chosen human value(s)
-
Strength and flow of the script and storyline
-
Acting and live dialogue delivery, without reliance on costumes, props, or technical effects
This round ensures that the foundation of the performance is values-driven and compelling, independent of visual or technical enhancements.
Finals
July 2026
The Final Round showcases the drama as a complete theatrical production.
The focus is on:
-
Enhancing the values-based story through stagecraft, sound, lighting, and props
-
Students’ ability to manage and integrate technical elements responsibly
-
Delivering a polished, immersive performance while staying true to the core human value(s)
This round highlights how creative, technical, and collaborative efforts come together to amplify the impact of the message.
